This is video footage from a contractor walk-thru in 2000 or 2001 of the Book Cadillac. You may recall that during this time there were other developers and contractors interested in restoring the building.
It’s quite a long video, but does offer some glimpses of the Ball Room and Italian Garden area before they were completely demolished. There’s also quit a bit of footage of the exterior and roof areas, which particularly indicate the level of looting copper salvaging that had taken place.
